One family at a time!

Yes, Cody has completed his Algebra S1 with a final exam grade of 48 out of 50. We are still waiting for the semester grade; however, we know it will be better than anything he's done before. I must sing the praises of Augustine! What a terrific, dedicated balanced influence he is for Cody. He went above and beyond, emailing Cody between sessions to make sure he stayed on pace with his work.

Dalton has made substantial progress this month. During the earlier part of the month, we have diagnosed his problems as being severe test anxiety related to a lack of confidence in math skills and poor test taking skills. Upon teaching him some testing techniques and confidence boosting techniques, he has scored 90% on both his last quiz and test. His mother has received e-mails praising him on his latest progress from his teacher. When Dalton and I first began, he had an "F" in math. Dalton's mother and more importantly Dalton is very pleased with the progress he has made.

Thank you Tutor Doctor!

We just wanted to tell you how much Tutor Doctor was able to help our daughter Julia. I am so glad that I picked up the phone and made the call for help!! She has made great strides in math and her marks reflect her hard work with her tutor. She has a much better grasp of math concepts and no longer fears her homework (and neither do we!). All in all, she is enjoying math much more because her tutor has made it all make sense. We can't thank you enough.

We are very happy with our experience to date with our son's tutor, Ryan. We were not sure what to expect when we signed on, but Ryan is very conscientious and relates extremely well with our son, Bryce. They have really made a connection.

We notice that Bryce actually looks forward to his time with Ryan and gets his supplies together and sits down at the table as soon as Ryan comes to the door. The help Ryan has given him seems to make Bryce much more confident when working on his school assignments, and has led to achieving better grades. Previously, when working with us, Bryce usually procrastinated and avoided his homework as long as possible. He actually now stays after school to work on assignments and projects if needed something we have never seen in the past.
